Expert Reviews
This deeply satisfying Bourgogne boasts a deep ruby colour and forward aromas of ripe cherry and wild strawberry. The structure is supple, with firmish tannins, good freshness and concentration on the palate that suggest this could also age. The vines are all in the Gevrey village limits, east of the Route Nationale. The domaine owns 5ha here that were purchased in the 1960s; some of the vines were planted then. The grapes are mostly destemmed before a gentle fermentation and aged in mainly used casks to produce this exemplary wine
