The DOM ALAIN CHAVY 'LES CHARMES' PULIGNY MONTRACHET is a notable white wine from the Burgundy region of France, specifically the Puligny-Montrachet appellation. This wine exhibits a complex flavor profile with crisp acidity, notes of green apple, peach, and subtle minerality, characteristic of the region's terroir and Chardonnay grape quality.
This exquisite wine pairs well with seafood dishes such as grilled scallops and lobster, as well as creamy poultry options. It can also complement a variety of cheeses, particularly soft French cheeses like Brie and Camembert.

The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Charmes is quite pungent on the nose, a little algae-like as green asparagus mixes with pear and flint. It has fine definition and is, again, almost Chablis-like. The palate is well balanced with a delineated lemon-zest and orange-rind entry. The 2023 is not long or deep, but remains fresh with a little more cohesion on the finish than the Les 8 Climats. Fine.
