Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has a seriously plummy and spice box-inspired nose with underlying baked blackberries and kirsch notes plus hints of sandalwood, Bovril and potpourri. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers a riper, berry preserves expression of the valley, packed with exotic spices and floral undertones, finishing long and chewy. This was tasted as a barrel sample.

Rich oak aromas, backed by an abundance of plummy red fruit. Vanilla and sweet spice notes continue on the palate, balanced nicely by fine grained tannins.
