Chateau Senejac 2022 hails from the Haut-Médoc region of Bordeaux, France. This wine exhibits a balanced flavor profile with notes of dark berries, subtle oak, and a hint of earthiness, characteristic of its terroir. The wine presents medium tannins and a moderate acidity, making it approachable yet structured.
For optimal enjoyment, serve Chateau Senejac 2022 slightly below room temperature, around 16-18°C (60-65°F). It pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, or aged cheeses. Decanting for 30-60 minutes before serving can enhance its flavors.
Vibrant, scented and delineated, showing expressive blue fruit, hibiscus, cassis, minerals and spices. The medium- to full-bodied palate is evenly packed with fresh and fine tannins. Graceful, velvety yet al dente. Spot-on balance with a lengthy but tightly wound finish. Already attractive, but wait three years if you want a more complete Bordeaux. This has the potential to develop for at least another eight to ten years.
The 2022 Sénéjac has turned out very well and looks to be the best wine this estate has produced since 2009. Offering up aromas of sweet minty cassis, petals and pencil shavings, it's medium-bodied, velvety and seamless, with a fresh core of fruit and a flavorful finish.
The 2022 Senejac captures all the best the year had to offer. Ripe and fleshy yet also quite vibrant, the 2022 impresses with its balance. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, licorice, spice, menthol and mocha fill out the layers as the wine builds into a long, beautifully sustained finish.
