The copper-tinged 2019 Cotes de Provence Rose l'Argentiere is mostly Grenache, with little bits of Syrah and Cinsault. A consistent favorite in these tastings, it's fermented and aged in concrete, with plenty of lees contact to enrich the texture. Scents of crushed stone join hints of red currants, melon and citrus on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is fine and silky, giving the impression of richness without weight and developing lingering notes of spice, lime and berries on the finish.
