This is a special treat. The Ceretto 2019 Barbaresco Asili (made with organic fruit) shows a tight or linear quality that is specific to this growing site. Aromas of dark fruit, blood orange and pencil shaving are even more pinpoint and focused in this beautiful vintage. This is a wine of enormous depth and length.
The 2019 Asili sports refined aromas of kirsch, cola and balsam herbs that mingle with darker nuances of scorched earth. It's both deep and vibrant, with crunchy red and black fruits at the core and serious tannins adding textural depth. More austere and mineral-inflected than the 2019 Gallina, this complex Barbaresco possesses enough depth and energy to perform well in the long run.
