The 2017 Riesling Ried Steinmassel 1ÖTW displays a clear and concentrated bouquet with hazelnut and ripe apricot aromas. Firm and still edgy on the palate, this is a classic, crisp and well-structured Riesling with a densely woven texture and some firm phenols on the finish. Still young, this will be an excellent wine with freshwater fish in three or four years. Tasted at Schloss Gobelsburg, Kamptal, September 2018.
