The 2021 Barolo Campè is a dark, potent wine. Black cherry, menthol, mocha, chocolate, leather, licorice and sweet oak infuse the 2021 with notable depth. This is an especially dense, dark Barolo from La Spinetta. Today, the tannins feel rather forbidding. Time in bottle will help, but I expect the 2021 will always be on the unyielding side.
