Aubry Champagne Rosé is a sparkling wine from the renowned Champagne region of France. This wine showcases a blend of red and white grape varieties, resulting in a vibrant profile characterized by notes of fresh berries, citrus, and delicate floral undertones, all balanced by fine bubbles and a crisp finish.
This Rosé pairs excellently with a variety of dishes, including seafood, poultry, and charcuterie boards. It complements salty cheese, sushi, and can enhance fruit-based desserts, making it versatile for different dining occasions.
A model of understatement and class, the Aubry's NV (2012) Brut Rosé is absolutely lovely. Bright red stone fruits, chalk, mint, citrus and white pepper grace the palate in this delicate, lifted Rosé. There is so much to like, but it is the wine's pleasure quotient that elevates it to a place among the best Rosés of the year. The 2012 is 50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 15% still Meunier vinified as red wine. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: January 2016.
The latest release of Aubry's NV Brut Rose Premier Cru was only disgorged in July 2018, but it's already showing well, opening in the glass with scents of strawberries, red apples and potpourri. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with an impressively deep, layered core of nicely concentrated fruit, ripe but tangy acids, a youthfully frothy mousse and a long, intense finish. This is a powerful, serious rosé that will work well at table or as an aperitif, especially after another year or two on cork.
