The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Randle Hill Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1982 in shale at 1,100 feet of elevation, and the wine was matured for 10 months in used French oak and stainless steel. It has pure scents of apricot and peach accented by tones of beeswax, mushroom, cheese rind and green herbs. At a moderate 11.5% alcohol, the palate is light-bodied and understated yet perfumed. It balances a gently creamy texture with vibrant acidity and has a long, elegant finish. It’s very easy to drink, while still offering depth and polish.
