The 2020 Gattinara Riserva is a terrific introduction to the Gattinaras. Sage, tobacco, mint, dried herbs and spice tones are beautifully delineated in the glass. This mid-weight, vibrant Gattinara is quite impressive. Best of all, it will drink well with minimal cellaring.
