Altos las Hormigas Malbec Reserve 2024 is a robust red wine from the prestigious Mendoza region of Argentina. This Malbec showcases dark berry flavors with notes of plum, hints of vanilla, and a subtle spiciness, thanks to its aging process in oak barrels. The wine's balanced acidity and silky tannins contribute to a smooth finish, characteristic of high-quality Malbecs from this terroir.
Ideal for pairing with rich dishes, this wine complements grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 60-65°F to enhance its flavors and allow it to breathe for 30-60 minutes before enjoying for optimal experience.

The 2024 Malbec Reserve is drawn entirely from Jardín de Hormigas in Paraje Altamira, favoring parcels with more silt and calcareous stones than those that contribute to the Terroir Valle de Uco bottling. It was fermented with 30% whole bunches, soft extraction and matured for 15 months in concrete tanks. Fresh herbs, chaparral and crushed stone aromas ride over a bed of black fruits, introducing a fittingly deep and textural mouthfeel with a touch more richness than the rest of the roster. It concludes with the striking purity that defines the Altos Las Hormigas lineup, lingering with firm yet refined tannins and a sturdy core of minerality.
