The 2015 Terroir Selection Malbec mixes grapes from their vineyards in different zones of Mendoza depending on the vintage. 2015 was atypical, and the blend had a majority of grapes from the Valle de Uco. It fermented in concrete vats and matured in new, second and third use French oak barrels for 12 months. It has a lot less influence from the oak and has more contained ripeness; therefore, the balance is found at a slightly smaller size than it was before. This is turning fresher and more aromatic, more polished and sleek, moving more toward elegance. It has more contained alcohol and more freshness. 80,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2017.
