Union Wine Company's Alchemist 2017 Chardonnay is minerally on the nose to begin, with notes of pulverized stone over red and yellow apples, honey, crushed almonds, baker's yeast and Meyer lemon with hints of cheese rind and jasmine. It's light to medium-bodied and creamy in the mouth with some buttery and yeasty flavors coming through, enlivened by juicy acidity and finishing savory. 250 cases produced.
