Adriano Marco e Vittorio Barbaresco Basarin, 2020, is a robust red wine from the Barbaresco region of Piedmont, Italy. Known for its Nebbiolo grape variety, this wine features flavors of ripe cherry, rose petal, and subtle hints of spices, accompanied by well-structured tannins and balanced acidity.
This Barbaresco pairs well with rich dishes such as braised meats, game, and aged cheeses. Serve it at a temperature of 16-18°C (60-65°F) and allow it to breathe for at least 30 minutes before enjoying to fully express its character.
The 2020 Barbaresco Basarin is rich and supple on the palate, with silky tannins that wrap it all together. Black cherry fruit, leather, spice, menthol and mocha are all amplified in this potent yet well balanced, young Barbaresco.
A sinewy red marked by assertive tannins today, yet this has an impression of sweet, ripe cherry fruit within. The long finish is infiltrated by eucalyptus, iron, tar and tobacco flavors. Best from 2026 through 2043.
