The oak-fermented and aged Abbazia di Novacella 2021 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Sylvaner Stiftsgarten (in a tall slender bottle with a gold wax capsule) is a viscous white wine with a golden shine. The bouquet is layered with heavy notes of honey, candied chestnut, preserved lemon and nougat with almonds. This is a full-bodied white, with thick glossy glycerin that is balanced out by the acidity of the grape. You get a mouthfeel in this wine. This is a limited release of 1,600 bottles.
