A.J. Adam Dhron Hofberg Riesling Spatlese 2024 hails from the Mosel region of Germany, known for its steep vineyards and slate soil. This Riesling exhibits a vibrant balance of sweetness and acidity, featuring notes of ripe peach, citrus, and floral undertones, typical of Spatlese wines. Its rich texture and complexity make it a prime example of the region's renowned winemaking tradition.
This Riesling pairs excellently with spicy Asian dishes, poultry, and rich cheeses. Serve chilled at approximately 8-10°C (46-50°F) to enhance its refreshing qualities. Ideal for celebrations or as a sophisticated accompaniment to a meal, it can also be enjoyed on its own.
The 2024 Riesling Dhroner Hofberg Spätlese was harvested at 86 degrees of Oechsle. It is ripe but without botrytis. The nose is still shy, but the palate is already shimmering with shades of passion fruit, peach and tangerine. These notions are subtle and emanating from that profound core of gentle sweetness on the svelte, bright, elongated body. This wonderfully elegant Spätlese unites aromatic, ripe white peach with gorgeous grapefruit and lemon zestiness. The 2024 is totally elegant. Sweet
