This is classic Chenin Blanc. The 2017 Golden Slopes Chenin Blanc has fresh aromas of stone fruit, citrus and yellow apples, all showing well on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is balanced and has good acidity on the palate. On the lingering finish, there is a touch of soft bitterness that one would expect from Chenin Blanc, and I can imagine enjoying this with a nice meal. It's an honest wine and delivers what it promises. I like this one and will be adding some to my cellar.
