The 2019 1865 Selected Collection Old Vines follows the path of less oak, like the rest of the range, as it matured in used French oak barrels and 3,000- to 5,000-liter oak vats for 18 months. The warmer year is reflected in 14.5% alcohol, and it has balsamic and herbal aromas and a medium to full-bodied palate with round tannins and good acidity and freshness. 16,800 bottles were filled in June 2021.
