100% Sangiovese Grosso grown in galestro soils at an altitude of 400m. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel; malolactic fermentation follows in oak. The wine ages for three years in large Slavonian oak casks. Aromas of raspberry and cherry, backed up by notes of mint, earthy spice, and chocolate. Medium-bodied on the palate with the perfect mix of sweet fruit notes and ripe tannins.
A dense, powerful red, evoking eucalyptus, wild rosemary, sage and dried cherry flavors. Tense and linear, with freshness, persistence and a lingering aftertaste. Best from 2022 through 2035.
