Expressive and creamy, this offers flavors of whole-grain toast, baked currant, honey and lemon preserves, with a spicy, mineral-tinged underpinning. Disgorged January 2015. Drink now through 2020. 50 cases imported.

The NV Brut Entre Ciel Et Terre is a refined wine laced with perfumed peaches, apricots, smoke, flowers and mint. This mid-weight yet generous Champagne offers gorgeous depth and richness, with a long, refined finish. The Ciel et Terre shows more than enough complexity and nuance to offer fine drinking now and over the next few years. Though labeled a NV wine, Entre Ciel Et Terre is a single-vintage wine (in this case 2003), 41% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 24% Meunier that spent 12 months in oak and was bottled with 4 grams of dosage. This is Lot # EB990208, disgorged in February, 2009. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2014.
