Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon 8th Maker is a fantastic example of a top-notch Napa Valley Cab. It comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant scents of warm cassis and blackberry pie with subtle hints of dried Provence herbs, fertile loam, coffee, yeast extract, olives and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, the generously fruited palate delivers plush-yet-firm tannins with seamless freshness and a lingering minty lift on the finish.

Proud of its fruit, with warmed cassis, blackberry reduction and candied plum notes taking center stage against a backdrop of melted black licorice and Christmas pudding flavors. Very plush and velvety in feel, showing a light graphite shading on the finish that gives this form and structure. For fans of the style. Drink now through 2030. 1,000 cases made.

Made to honor Mark Beringer, the historic producer's eighth winemaker, this bold, 100% varietal wine is generously steeped in rich cherry fruit that is hugely concentrated and powerful. Dusty baking spice and cocoa powder add to a breadth of supple mouthfeel and lasting intensity. Enjoy best from 2024-2030 and good luck removing the wax.
