Bright red-ruby. Sexy musky reduction to the varietally expressive scents of blackberry, tobacco and minerals. Sweet, ripe and fine-grained, with juicy acidity framing the wine's black fruit and tobacco flavors. In a rather plush but refined style, with no lack of definition. A bit lean on the back end compared to the Luminis Malbec but the tannins are ripe and the finish a bit chocolatey.

The 2014 Allamand Altamira Malbec was dark, ripe, concentrated and a little animally. 13,000 bottles produced.
