This Prosecco boasts a light straw in color with bright yellow highlights and a bouquet of honey, apples, and white peach, culminating in a refreshing, well-balanced acidity and lively mouthfeel. Its versatility shines through in its ability to complement a variety of dishes, from spicy curries and Southeast Asian cuisine like Thai or Vietnamese, to beloved American classics such as burgers and pizza. For optimal enjoyment, serve chilled in a champagne flute or white wine glass. Prosecco also reigns as the preferred choice for the quintessential brunch cocktail, the mimosa, or the classic Aperol Spritz.

Steely and focused on the nose with aromas of lemongrass, green apple and hint of peach. The palate is tart and crisp lifting the palate with mixed citrus and tart apricot notes finishing with and elegant perlage.

Pale green with a persistent froth. A whiff of sulfur blows off to reveal simple green apple and floral aromas.Bright and fresh, with uncomplicated flavors similar to the aromas. Finishes with decent length and a hint of sweetness.

Mionetto's NV Prosecco Brut is a solid, reliable offering with good varietal character and balance. Still, it would be nice to see this large house make more ambitious wines. I recently saw Mionetto's Prosecco being poured in one of Manhattan's most fashionable hotel bars and couldn't help thinking that Prosecco can be so much more. If the region's top producers are truly serious about protecting the integrity of the Prosecco brand, the first place to start is by putting a higher quality product in the bottle. This is Lot: L10099. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2011.
