The 2021 Chardonnay is creamy and concentrated, with notes of yellow peach, a hint of curry leaf, saltbush, brine, green apple skins and a splay of fine texture through the finish. This is long in the mouth; lovely lingering flavors hang around long after the wine has gone. It is very smart, classy. It comes from a cool(ish) year in Margaret River with plenty of rain about the growing season, but the Chardonnays have been sensational so far. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Robust, with lemony flavors at the core, plus details of beeswax, a hint of flint and notes of rich lemon oil, citrus zest and Fuji apple on a mouthwatering frame. Shows terrific intensity and follow-through on the finish. Drink now. 3,000 cases made, 200 cases imported.

This golden-hued Chardy, from the heart of Margaret River, is rich and opulent in style. Aromas evoke struck match, honeyed nuts, beeswax, grilled melon and a beachy salinity. Elevated acidity on the palate is more than racy, it's borderline shrill, but it does help cut through the toast richness. Drink only slightly chilled.
