The 2021 Chablis Les Blanchots Grand Cru has a well-defined bouquet with lemon thyme and light peach skins aromas, fine delineation and focus, a light sea spray element emerging with time. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, quite austere towards the finish but with a tad more persistence than the Bouguerots.

This has flesh surrounding the yellow plum, apple and lemon flavors, along with accents of stone and salinity. Ends on a more linear, crisp profile than it begins. Compelling. Best from 2024 through 2036.
