Our 2019 Flanagan Chardonnay RRV is primarily a blend of the Bacigalupi Vineyard and the younger vine vinification from Ritchie Vineyard. We included a small amount of Platt Vineyard fruit and that provides a thrilling lift to the acidity in the wine. The nose shows notes of Citrus Blossom, jasmine, and Herbs de Provence. On the palate the wine has Key Lime, Limestone, and toasted almond. The wine has a very fresh acidity and an elegant minerality. This is a brilliant example of Chardonnay, made in a balanced fashion, from the top vineyards in Sonoma County.

Salty oak, apple, stone fruit and lemon combine around a tension and texture that appeals in this lengthy, well-made white. The oak imparts accents of baking spice and adds weight, without ever becoming overwrought.

Lots of melon, ripe pineapple, and honeyed flower notes define the nose of the 2019 Chardonnay Russian River, a rich, medium to full-bodied, sweetly fruited Russian River Valley Chardonnay that stays pure and lively, with some subtle toasty, nuttiness on the finish. It will drink nicely for 4-5 years.
