Larkmeadâs 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (White Label) includes a healthy 18% Cabernet Franc in the blend, which may help to explain the wineâs unusually fragrant, floral and even tea-like notes on the nose. Theyâre joined by mixed red and black cherries, as well as red raspberries and a rather weighty oakinessâit did spend 22 months in 71% new French oak. Itâs full-bodied and nicely ripe on the palate, featuring silky tannins and easy accessibility, plus a lingering, softly dusty and mocha-tinged finish.
