In this 2021 vintage, we were able to capture more ripe fruit, which makes this a classic Evenstad Reserve. The nose of this wine is lemon and lime with pineapple and guava, which produces great minerality in the nose. The palate is full of limestone, lemon, earthy fruit, and silk texture where it's soft and smooth and affects different locations in the mouth. The finish is smooth, brighter, and light. Pairs well with roasted acorn squash or a grilled pork dish.

The 2021 Chardonnay Reserve Evenstad is youthfully restrained with a delicate bouquet of baked apples and pears complemented by hints of chamomile and mint. Silky textures soothe, contrasted by crisp orchard fruits as a hint of lemon zest adds lovely depth. The 2021 leaves the palate with a youthful tension, pinching at the cheeks and forcing the mouth to water as whispers of candied citrus fade.
