The 2014 Barolo Cerretta is the most concentrated and massively tannic of these wines. Searing in its intensity, the 2014 is persistent in feel, but the fruit is never allowed to emerge from the shackles of all of that tannin. Overall, the Cerretta comes across as monolithic in this tasting.
