Rich and vibrant on the nose with ripe cherries, red plums and hints of chocolate, licorice and dried orange peel. Medium- to full-bodied, vibrant and racy on the palate, with textural, nicely ripened tannins and juicy acidity. A fine-tuned and energetic Barolo with savory character. Better after 2027.

Savory aromas and flavors of mint, menthol and juniper mark this fluid red, offset by cherry and raspberry notes, while dusty tannins ply the lingering finish. Shows fine balance and length. Best from 2027 through 2042. 3,500 cases made.

Dark red in color, the 2020 Barolo Buon Padre is rustic and wild on the nose, with notes of sour black cherries, tangy orange oils, clove, saddle leather, and turned earth. Medium-bodied, the palate is energetic with good, fresh lift, fine tannins, and a more notable citrus tone. This wild little beast will be best enjoyed over the next 2-3 years.

The wine open with dark fruited preserves and jam, interlaced with sweet spices, crafting a richly scented bouquet. On the palate, it presents a robust structure, characterized by firm tannins. A touch of green herbal notes adds complexity and a fresh counterpoint to the wine's opulent fruit profile. Drink Now - 2040 -
