A very long wine in the mouth with a citrus attack, followed by notes of ripe fruits, exotic fruits and a beautiful bitterness at the end of the mouth. The long aging on lees gives it a very beautiful fatness. Pure, straight and very elegant. The tension and superb length in the mouth make it a great gastronomic wine, for lobster, scallops, smoked fish, turbots or other John Dory. It is also interesting with delicate white meats such as capon or veal, accompanied by truffles or mushrooms. Great mountain cheeses such as an old Salers or a 5 or 6 year old Comté also work wonders with this great Savennières.
