The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, crunchy black fruit laced with brown spices and a touch of tobacco on the finish. This is full of charm and personality and is built to age.

The 2018 Pommard 1er Cru Les Pézerolles opens in the glass with an incipiently complex bouquet featuring raspberries and plums married with dark chocolate, orange rind and spices. Medium to full-bodied, layered and nicely concentrated, with fine tannins and a nicely defined finish, it's a success.
