Failla Fort Ross Seaview Syrah 2022

Redolent of fresh raspberries, spiced blueberry compote and black olive, this is a striking, biodynamically-farmed coastal Syrah. The balance between rich, ripe California berry fruit and the aromatic complexity of whole-cluster character along the palate and finish is simply gorgeous. This wine will almost certainly improve with age, but it's exceedingly charming in the here and now.

The 2022 Syrah Estate Vineyard is a total knockout. Dark, brooding and imposing, the 2022 captures all the savory/mineral intensity of this site on the West Sonoma Coast. Blackberry, charcoal, lavender, menthol and black pepper all race out of the glass in this heady, layered Syrah. It's deeply satisfying from the very first taste.
