The 2022 Pinot Noir leads with strawberry and game, pomegranate molasses and stewed apple. The finish has some warmth from the alcohol, but the package is one of relative balance and control. The fruit is from the Johnson vineyard (clay silt loam over free-draining alluvium) and the Outpost vineyard (windblown clay/loess over clay bound glacial gravel). 14% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
