There's a lot to like in this wine's plum, tar, orange rind and raspberry aromas. The palate has a bright freshness, with enough tannic heft to give drinking pleasure over the next few years. It's an enjoyable mouthful of a wine. Give it a short decant.

Gutsy and a bit taut at the moment, with currant, espresso and roasted herb notes. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Best after 2021. 40,000 cases made.
