The wine is vinified in stainless-steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit aromas and flavors of the Nuragus grape. Lemons and peaches complement undertones of nuts and herbs. On the palate, bright acidity, light body, and a slightly bitter finish make for a perfect warm weather quaffer. Nuragus is an ideal aperitivo but can easily be paired with light seafood preparations such as crudo di pesce or ceviche. Baked white fish or cooked shellfish also work with Nuragus, especially if the preparations are kept simple and ingredients are kept to a minimum. It's a perfect wine for light summer fare.
