The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain is more Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated (79%) but also includes Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. It's another Old World-inspired effort delivering red and black plum fruits, lots of spicy oak, barbecue smoke, and chocolate aromatics, medium to full body, present tannins, and terrific overall balance. I like it today yet see no reason it shouldn't evolve for 15 years if well stored.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, 4% Syrah, 4% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. Aromas of dark fruits and a fine mineral essence lift from the glass with ease and finesse. Medium to full-bodied, the wine offers a firm tannic grip with fresh and lively mineral tension before uncoiling across the delightfully food-friendly finish. Just under 16,000 bottles were produced after the wine rested for 20 months in 47% new oak.
