The 2016 Beaune 1er Cru Champs Pimont Blanc is 100% matured in foudres. It has another slightly resinous but clean and fresh bouquet with pleasant grilled walnut scents emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, not a complex Beaune but there is an appealing roundness on the tropical-tinged finish. Drink over the next six years. Drink Date: 2019-2027.
