Pale gold. Complex aromas of fresh orchard and citrus fruits, buttered toast, smoky lees and pungent flowers. Silky and sharply delineated on the palate, offering intense white peach, pear and Meyer lemon flavors that pick up a sweet suggestion of honey with aeration. Fleshy and densely packed but surprisingly lithe, finishing with strong, spicy thrust and a smoky mineral flourish. Raised in large French oak barrels.
