A seductive white, offering an expressive mix of honeycomb, quince, ginger and yellow apple edged in salty mineral, with a note of brioche. The full palate shows nice restraint, with a firming beam of bitter pith and salty minerality. Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Picpoul, Bourboulenc and Clairette. Drink now through 2030.

The 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is rock-solid, with bright aromatics of tart pineapple, lemon curd, and some honeyed apple to go with a medium-bodied, clean, vibrant style on the palate. It shows the cooler, fresher style of the vintage and is nicely balanced.
