Pehu-Simonet Extra Brut Face Nord

From vineyards on the north-facing slope of the Montagne de Reims, this Champagne is a blend of different Grand Cru vines. It is dry, although an underlying richness gives the wine generosity and crisp apple and pear fruitiness. An elegant texture at the end is a good indication that the wine could age.

This shows lovely minerality, with a chalky vein lacing flavors of ripe white cherry and almond biscotti, plus accents of pink grapefruit pith, spun honey and fleur de sel. Bright and balanced, with the finely detailed mousse carrying the profile on the lingering finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged March 2024. Drink now through 2030. 150 cases imported.
