Geoffroy's NV Brut Premier Cru Expression is totally alive in the glass. Vibrant and delineated, the Expression bursts from glass with dried pears, flowers, almonds and Chamomile. A blend of 47% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir and 13% Chardonnay, the Expression is all about texture and volume from the red grapes, which give tons of richness without detracting from the wine's essential energy, tension and pure drive. A crystalline, layered finish rounds things out beautifully. This is a great showing from a wine loaded with class. Disgorgement date: April 2012. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016.

Floral notes mix with flavors of ripe apple, peach, grapefruit zest and biscuit in this lightly chalky, firmly structured Champagne. A hint of smoke shows on the open-knit finish. Disgorged July 2011. Best after 2013. 168 cases imported.
