Aged in stainless steel without any wood use, it has a supple texture but is structured, with fresh acidity and a bit of warmth, though it does not feel hot. This deep and darkly hued Barbera is packed full of juicy black cherry, blackberry and baking spices on the nose. The palate is fleshy as if chomping into a perfectly ripe plum. The wine is forward with primary fruit notes, allspice, vanilla and a fresh herbal note. The finishes with fine tannins and bright acidity.
