Shimmering ruby-red. Intensely perfumed red and blue fruit and floral scents pick up exotic spice, incense and smoky mineral notes as the wine opens up. At once concentrated and energetic in style, offering palate-staining Chambord, blueberry, cherry cola, spicecake and floral pastille flavors that deepen through the back half. The red fruit and floral qualities drive a wonderfully long, finely etched finish framed by slowly building, polished tannins.

Darker berry fruits as well as camphor, leather, white flowers, and underbrush nuances all emerge from the 2019 Pinot Noir Rosemary's Vineyard, a medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, bright, almost racy Pinot Noir that will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age. All destemmed and aged 15 months in 35% new French oak, it should have well over a decade of longevity.
