The 2019 Spätburgunder Pinot Noir is pure, deep and spicy on the nose that reveals cherry and toasty aromas and indicates more purity, elegance and peppery notes than the fruitier 2020. Silky, fresh and elegant on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, dense and intense, sustainable Pinot with a straight and refreshing character, cleansing tannins and stimulating salinity. Stunningly long and simply excellent. 12.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted in July 2022.
