More savory than sweet, the 2019 Pinot Noir Reserve opens with a dark blend of dried flowers and black cherries complicated by hints of incense. It's softly textured and lifted with pure red berry fruits and savory spices swirling throughout. This leaves a cheek-puckering tenseness, tapering off dry and structured with grippy tannins clamping down hard. The 2019 will require patience.

A handsome Pinot, with generous cherry and cranberry flavors that mingle with green tea and savory spices. Ends with refined tannins. Drink now through 2029. 2,084 cases made.

A smooth mouthfeel, integrated tannins and restrained acidity make for some easy sipping. Aromas of blackberries and violets encircle a meaty note similar to pork shoulder roasting on an outdoor grill. There are more blackberries on the palate, along with orange marmalade and sweet tea flavors.
