A lighter style, compared to previous vintages, the 2018 Lubanzi red is a fresh & harmonious blend of four rhone varietals. Its ruby color indicates garden fresh red fruits, such as cherry & strawberry. The nose is intriguing, adding complexity with herbal & chocolatey aromas, layered on the fruit. The palate builds with juicy red & black fruits and there is a clear taste of earthy soil which remains throughout. It is refreshingly soft & ripe, yet still very present & unique.
